👨‍⚖️Meet our President, Vincent (he/him)👨‍⚖️! Vincent is currently a fourth year undergrad at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) with interests in neurogenic communication disorders, nueroimaging, bilingualism, and academia! We are so excited to have him leading the organization this term! 📣Meet our Vice President, Sam (he/they)📣! Sam is currently a third year undergrad at Ithaca College with interests in gender-affirming voice care, voice and related disorders, and all things anatomy and physiology! We are super excited to have their contributions to the LGBTQ+ CSDSA! 👥Meet our Events Chair, Kayla (she/her) 👥! Kayla is currently a third year undergrad at Ithaca College with interests in feeding and swallowing disorders! We are so exicted to have the contribution of her hard work for all the events for the LGBTQ+ CSDSA!

About us

Established in 2021, the LGBTQ+ Communication Sciences & Disorders Student Association (LGBTQ+ CSDSA) is a national student group created by and for LGBTQ+ students studying speech-language pathology, audiology, and speech and hearing sciences. We seek to connect and support students, advocate for their needs in clinical and educational matters, and educate allies to support LGBTQ+ students and clients.
